General Lesson Information

Weekly, scheduled, 30-minute lessons are either private or group. They take place Monday – Saturday between 9am – 4:30pm and are either mounted or unmounted.

Cancellation & Makeup Policy:

Please notify us at least 24 hours prior if you need to cancel your regularly scheduled lesson. We understand things come up and life is busy! However, if there are more than 3 no shows/ no calls in one trimester, your spot may be forfeited.

If notified in advance, we may be able to reschedule your lesson for a different day/time that week. However, makeup lessons are not guaranteed

No refunds are given for lessons missed.

Weather-Related Cancellation Policy

REINS may cancel or modify classes, lessons, or activities due to rainy weather, excessively muddy conditions, or other extreme weather. Decisions are made at the discretion of REINS staff to ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, staff, and horses.

Lesson Modifications:
REINS reserves the right to modify any lesson due to weather. Modifications may include shortening the lesson or conducting activities only on trails or in shaded areas to minimize exposure to unsafe conditions.

Extreme Weather Closures:
Classes may be canceled due to extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, muddy or unsafe footing, extreme heat (>100 degrees), or high winds. These decisions are made with participant safety as the top priority.

Closure Notifications:
Closure reminders and updates will be communicated through phone calls on the day of cancellation, as well as REINS’ social media channels and website. Participants are encouraged to check these platforms regularly during questionable weather conditions. Please call with any questions.

Makeup Lessons:
Please note that makeup lessons for weather-related closures are not typically available.
